The ANX6592 is an high performance integrated power supply solution optimized for TFT-LCD tablet panels which generates most voltage rails for the TFT LCD bias (PAVDD, NAVDD, VGH, VGL). It is especially designed for 3.7V single cell Li-Ion battery input.
The device integrates a boost regulator and an inverting buck-boost converter. The dual outputs provide TFT source driver ±AVDD voltage. It works in a fixed switching frequency of 1.7MHz from light load to very heavy load. The output voltages are adjustable by external resistive dividers.
The ANX6592 also integrates a positive charge pump regulator for gate-on voltage and a negative charge pump regulator for gate-off voltage. The output voltages are also adjustable by external resistive dividers.
The ANX6592 offers internal soft-start to reduce inrush current. It also includes several protection functions for abnormal operation like thermal shutdown, over-voltage protection, over-current protection,under-voltage protection, and automotive turn-off discharge function.
The ANX6592 is available in a thin 28-pin 3.5x5.5mm WQFN green package.
